“ This was a nice surprise after a round of golf at Lake Forest. I usually have mild expectations when it comes to taco trucks. My prior experience isn't anything to clamor about. But Los Compadres... they flip the script on me. Their tacos are quite thoughtful. They are more on the smaller street taco which is so much better than the overpriced gigantic tacos you get at the stores. This might have to do with overhead. I'll save that for another review. They offer a variety of proteins: carnitas, carneasada, pollo, shrimp... and if I'm not mistaken, think I saw langua (tongue) at one point. They also offer burritos and quesadilla. What I like about them is their flavors. Between their grilled onions and pickled onions, it really enhances their flavors well. Their salsa verde is our go-to between the rojas and avocado sauce. Everyone will have their preference of course. Another note is their cleanliness! You can see how organized they are, and you can tell they care for their products. Can't wait for another round of deliciousness! ”

You can tell that the tortillas are made from scratch too I think they were the best corn tortillas I've ever had. I usually don't even like corn tortillas!! Carne asana taco is the best one!! Love it with the avocado salsa. This is a new staple. ”
